Meet The Team

She then worked in practice in Australia for a year before returning to Ireland to complete an internship in O’Byrne and Halley’s equine hospital in Tipperary. She then delved deeper into the niche area of equine reproduction by training with world renowned stud medicine clinician John Newcombe.

Her dedication to learning has seen her collaborate with experts like Chelsea Burden, Angus McKinnon, James Crabtree, Simon Robinson, and John Newcombe, inspiring her to pursue ongoing specialised studies. Susan’s primary focus lies in assisting sub-fertile and challenging-to-breed mares, and she shares her insights through contributions to veterinary journals and The Irish Field.
Beyond her professional life, Susan enjoys hunting, track riding, and hacking. She’s also an adventurer at heart, relishing coastal trips and trying her hand at surfing.
