Routine Healthcare
During routine visits, such as visits to perform vaccinations, we often conduct routine health checks. Annual clinical examinations are recommended, especially in older horses. A full check up covers eyes, heart, lungs and a body condition assessment. In conducting these check ups, we collect a full history and we address any concerns you may have.

A pre-purchase examination normally involves five stages including a physical examination, flexion tests and several stages which assess body systems and performance. In this examination we evaluate whether or not the animal is suitable to perform the job you wish to purchase him/her for.
A vetting can include radiography, endoscopy and bloodwork.
We aid potential buyers in making an informed decision about the horse’s suitability and health before purchase.
